Important, The Opening Plot of the Eternal Ocean RP. PLEASE READ!

Exactly one year previous to current time....
In a secluded island in the grand line, inside a deep cave, a King slept on his throne, frozen in ice Lotheridon and his ship The Bulwark of Ages sat.

But he shall sleep no longer. A single small crack appeared in the face of the ice. Upon his throne Lotheridon's eyes sparked into life once more, the blue flames which erupted from them ignited once more. Whispers of the past swirled through the cavern as more cracks appeared within the ice, before a scream of sheer anguish shattered the air as the ice exploded forth in a crackling maelstorm of energy, which tore the small island apart revealing the great ship once more.

"I have awoken once more" The ancient king spoke as he rose from his throne, his voice weezy and gravely. Pulling his blade from the last remnants of the ice which had trapped him for so long.

Hayami D.Seiichi was on a marine boat, which was headed to a big pirate-controlled island far away from his CP9's usual training and reporting quarters. The World Government had asked for him to give the small crew a hand, since they were expecting heavy resistance over there. There were apparently three pirates with bounties ranging around the Hundred Millions, and the Marine fleet that was he was sent with didn't appear to be the Vice-Admiral's first choice, more like a last resort one.

They had been sailing for around three hours when out of nowhere, a small island about a mile away from them blew up, revealing a large pirate ship, which troubled Seiichi's mind way more than the three pretenders at Senshi Island.

"Change course, we're headed towards any island that's in range of that ship, get closer to the ship, and force him to the island. Fire the cannons if needed, get everyone ready to attack or defend, we don't know on which side we'll be. I don't know that flag" He said to the Ship's commander, who immediately made the preparations to change the crew's course, the whole crew assisting him as Seiichi tried to identify the flag, but wasn't able to remember it, even after a minute or two.

Turning on the spot, Lotheridon faced the oncoming fleet, his eyes flared as he saw the flag of the marines adorning the masts and sails of the boats, old anger flaring up once more. Raising his blade, he brought it down into the metal deck of the ship, where it passed through like a pebble into water. Second later the ship began to rumble as it fell into the ocean, Lotheridon's blade returning to his grasp. Within moments the gigantic ship had decended fully into the ocean once more, leaving behind a series of small archipelagos where the island had once been.

Standing upon one of these islands, Lotheridon gazed upon the approaching fleet, his burning eyes flickered in the slight wind that was beginning to build up.

"Howling Fjord!" he called, pointing at the ships with his blade, chilling the air in a great space around him, before whipping up a foul gale which hurtled towards the marine galleons.

"hmm...seems to be turning cold all of a sudden" Seiichi nonchalantly said as he realised that he was the only one not completely frozen by the chilling wind that the unknown man had sent at them. All the ship's crew were desperately trying to cover themselves, while the CP9 member could not look more careless, only looking around to see if it'd stop, as if expecting that his action would change a thing. His traditional World Government suit and tie was all he was wearing, and he had to admit that the chilling wind had a small effect on him.

"Seems like I'll have to go and remind that person, whoever he is, that we're the Marines, and that no one messes with the World Government and gets away with it alive." He said, as his crew acknowledged, trying to continue the battle preparations despite their problems with the cold that had hit them moments ago.
